今日は俺のフェイヴァリットバンドの一つ、the seedsの紹介だっ！
1965年スカイ・サクソンのひらめきによって結成。66年にシングル「Can't Seem To Make You Mine」でレコード・デビュー。彼らの楽曲の特長は、激しく鳴り響く反復リズムとチープで暴力的なサウンド。
でもってスカイ・サクソンの爬虫類ヴォイスがかわいらしいメロディを奏で、乙女を地獄へと誘う、、。
1968年に解散してしまったが、フロントマンのサクソンは、スカイ・サンライト・サクソンとして宗教活動の傍ら音楽活動も現役。サイケデリックを地でいくオッサンである。
あんまし紹介になってないけど。聴いてみてね〜、っちゅう事で。
